HOUSTON – Houston neighborhoods are seeing a boom in new apartment buildings.
RentCafe, a nationwide apartment search website, analyzed construction data in about 1,000 neighborhoods across the U.S. between 2010 to 2016. The Washington Avenue-Memorial Park neighborhood, in Houston, ranked ninth on the list of Top Neighborhoods for Apartment Construction. There were 3,569 new units in 12 buildings.

Greenway-Upper Kirby, Memorial and Greater Uptown ranked 13th, 14th and 15th.
Houston also had four other neighborhoods in the top 50.
