HOUSTON – A man was killed Saturday after his vehicle ran over him at a Shell gas station, Houston police said.
The incident was reported at 1:35 p.m. in the 13000 block of Almeda Road.

Police said the 70-year-old man was at the gas station when he failed to park his vehicle and accidentally put it in reverse. Police said the man got out the vehicle and it reversed and struck him twice.
He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
