Man sought in Katy home burglary

KATY, Texas – Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help in finding a man accused of breaking into a home in the Katy area.

Images of the man were caught on the home's surveillance camera.

Deputies said the man broke into the home on Wellshire Boulevard and took several items between May 10 p.m. May 3 and 9 p.m. on May 4.

Deputies said the burglar stole vintage flatware, a silverware set, jewelry, an iPad and a computer hard drive.

Officials described the burglar as a thin white man, about 50 to 60 years old. He appears to be about 6 feet tall. He was wearing all black clothing. He has brown/reddish hair with a receding hairline and a sharp nose and sharp chin.
