1 injured after gunmen open fire at 2 men, 2 women outside Kroger in NW Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – One man was injured Wednesday in a shooting outside a Kroger grocery store in northwest Harris County.

According to investigators, two men and two women were in two vehicles in the parking lot of the store in the 8500 block of  Highway  6 around 12:30 a.m. when two men walked up and started shooting.

One man was taken to a hospital. He is listed in serious condition.

No one else was injured.

Harris County deputies searched the area with helicopters but could not find the gunmen. Deputies did find a gun nearby.

At least 15 shell casings lay in the parking lot.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
