Person accused of shooting at police officer in Liberty County

HUFFMAN, Texas – A person is in custody after police said he shot an officer Monday in Liberty County.

Police said at 10:30 a.m. the officer was shot at on Huffman Cleveland Road at Meyer Road.

Officials said the officer was not hurt and did not shoot back. 

The suspected shooter was arrested.

The motive of the shooting is unknown.
