2 men sought in Pawn Shop robbery in north Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for two males in connection with a robbery and shooting last weekend.

Police described the men as black, between 16 and 19 years old. One is described as 5 feet,11 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, wearing a turquoise shirt and tan pants.

The second is said to be 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, wearing a blue coat and blue pants.

Police said surveillance video shows the men robbing Airline Pawn Shop at 181 W. Dyna around 6 p.m. May 6.

According to police the store's employees had closed for the night and were walking to their vehicles when the two men forced them back into the business.

Police said the business owner was forced to open the safe and lie face down on the floor.

One of the men fired a warning shot and the other one shot the owner in the back, according to police.

The men fled in a black Nissan Altima that police believe is a 1990s model.

Houston police will hold a news conference at 10 a.m. Friday to provide more information in this case.
