Man arrested in connection with girl's death had 'interest in watching someone die,' police say
SPANISH FORK, Utah – A Spanish Fork, Utah, man, who told police that he wanted to watch someone die, was arrested after he helped a 16-year-old girl kill herself and filmed the incident, investigators said.
Tyerell Przybycien, 18, was booked Saturday into the Utah County Jail on charges of murder and reckless endangerment.
A turkey hunter found a girl hanging from a rope in a tree near Maple Lake on Saturday, according to a police affidavit. Near the body were two plastic grocery bags and a can of industrial-strength air duster.
A cellphone and a handwritten note identifying the girl were found in one bag. There was also a receipt in the bag for the purchase of a rope with Przybycien's name on the credit card information, the affidavit said.
The note also said that "if there were any questions to watch the video."
