Texas ranks low on list for working mothers

No work-life balance for Texas moms, says study

TEXAS – As we approach Mother's Day, a new study is revealing the best and worst states for working moms.

WalletHub’s analysts compared state dynamics across 13 key metrics to identify the best and worst states. The study shows the overall ranking, as well as rankings for child care, professional opportunities and work-life balance.

Texas ranked 33rd overall, 13th for child care and 35th for professional opportunities. The lowest ranking for Texas was for work-life balance; it came in 49th.
