HEB voluntarily recalls several sandwich breads due to potential rubber in product

HOUSTON – HEB voluntarily recalled several sandwich breads Thursday due to the possible presence of rubber in the product, the store confirms.

HEB officials said the brand and Hill Country Fare breads with a best-by date of April 29 or earlier may be affected after an isolated incident.

Breads purchased in San Antonio, Rio Grande Valley, Laredo and Corpus Christi stores were not affected by the recall.

Customers who purchased the product can return for a full refund. Anyone who has questions or concerns is asked to call HEB Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438.
