HOUSTON – A man has been charged after being accused of intentionally causing a crash with his children inside the vehicle, Houston police said.

The incident happened at 5:15 a.m. Thursday in the 5500 block of Antoine Drive.

Police said Kevin Santee, 24, showed up at his kids' house and entered without permission.

Santee took off with his 2-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter in the car as the mother/grandmother followed them in their car, police said.

Santee slammed on his brakes. Police said this caused the mother's car to crash into him.

Santee was charged with endangering a child. Police said he was being held in the Harris County Jail on no bond.
