Timberloch building implosion set for Sunday in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Final preparations are being put in place for the implosion of the Timberloch building in Montgomery County.

According to officials, the building will be brought down at first light this Sunday.

Despite a safety zone of 650 feet in diameter surrounding the blast site, traffic along the I-45 North Freeway and Woodlands Parkway will not be impacted, officials said.

The implosion will take about 12 seconds with the perimeter to be cleared within the following two hours.
