Witnesses said after several strikes the suspect fled in a silver Dodge Dually truck toward Interstate 45.

Officials  said the Dually was reported stolen out of Montgomery County on April 3.

Deputies said they saw the truck southbound on I-45 and when they attempted to stop the driver he led them on a chase to Houston.

Houston TranStar cameras caught the driver speeding away from deputies around 4:30 a.m.

During the chase, the driver slammed into an 18-wheeler, and kept driving along the feeder road near Gulfbank.

The teen was arrested after crashing the truck at Ella and 18th Street.

A passenger of the truck is still on the run.

Investigators believe they were attempting to burglarize the convenience store or steal the ATM. Deputies said they found two black ski masks in the vehicle.
