HOUSTON – Arson officials are investigating a high-rise fire in the Galleria area, according to authorities.
Firefighters responded to reports of a "cold smoke" around 9 a.m. at 2000 West Loop South near San Felipe Street.
Officials said cold smoke is dangerous because it can cause carbon monoxide and the smoke tends to hug the floor, which makes visibility difficult.
According to authorities, the fire was contained to the electrical room and firefighters credit the sprinkler system for containing and extinguishing the fire.
No severe damage was done and no one was injured.
