HOUSTON – Police are searching for the driver who they say hit and killed a man in northeast Houston.
According to investigators, the man was crossing Homestead road at Miley street on Friday night when a dark-colored vehicle hit him.

Police said witnesses told them the driver stopped for a moment, then drove away.
The man died at the scene.
Police said they are working to find the driver by talking to witnesses and checking nearby surveillance cameras.
