A man was found dead Thursday lying in a pool of blood on a sidewalk in The Heights, police said.
The body was found around 12:15 a.m. in the 300 block of Heights Boulevard at Fourth Street.
Homicide investigators said the man, possibly in his 40s or 50s, was shot in the head.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by forensics.
No arrests have been made and there is currently no information on a suspect or motive.
Investigators will review cameras from a nearby business for clues.
