Intruder accused of fondling himself inside, outside Humble home, deputies say

HUMBLE, Texas – A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault and public lewdness, according to deputies.

The incident happened Aug. 16 at a home in the 7000 block of Foxhurst Lane in Humble.

Deputies said Marlon Velasquez forced his way inside the residence and entered the bedroom. A woman awoke to Velasquez touching her. When she woke up, Velasquez pulled up his pants and left the scene.

Nearly seven months later, on March 5, deputies said Velasquez jumped a fence and possibly attempted to force entry into the same home. When deputies arrived, Velasquez was gone, but surveillance video showed him fondling himself while looking through a bedroom window, according to authorities.

After checking past dates on the camera, authorities discovered it was not the first time Velasquez was in the yard.

“Marlon Velasquez was arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault for the August 16 incident. His bond is set at $100,000 out of the 183rd District Court. He was also charged with public lewdness for the March 5 incident. His bond for this charge is $2,000 out of County Court #3,” Precinct Four Constable Mark Herman said.
