A video of a fight between two teens is going viral -- not for the fight, but for its peaceful resolution when a passerby intervened.

A Facebook post with the five-minute video of the intervention has been shared more than 554,000 times and liked more than 249,000 times.

The video has even made it to the A-list circle, with Cleveland Cavaliers’ star LeBron James responding: “So dope!!! #Salute the homie who stepped in and spoke real to our young generation. We all need a word or 2 to help!”

Torrey Smith also responded to the video, writing: “This is a REAL man right here! Y’all youngs need to watch and learn from this video about your ‘friends’…salute to this dude.”

It’s unclear when or where the fight happened, but the video was published Monday on an account from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Jamar Mobley, posting under the name Marmar Duval, published the video with a hand clap emoji, apparently praising what eventually happened between the two boys.

The video begins with the boys swinging at each other, and then a man approaches and puts himself between them.

The unidentified man calls everyone out for their behavior, particularly the “cowards” filming and laughing, urging the two on.

The boys stop and listen to the young man. He says, among other things, that he knows some of the boys in the group and where they came from. The man said the boys’ parents work hard, and that they shouldn’t make them look badly by fighting in the street.

The man eventually tells the boys that he isn’t leaving until they shake hands. The boys initially balk at the idea, but the man continues to press the gesture.

“I’m not leavin’ until you shake hands,” the man said. “Now look, they want ya’ll to be enemies. ... Put your hand back out, bro. He’s going to shake it this time, I promise you.”

When the boy outstretches his hand, the other boy takes it, and the fighters walk away. The video ends seconds later, apparently without any further violence.
