Man wanted in theft of luxury watch from Houston business, police say

$5,000 reward offered for information


HOUSTON – A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Houston Police and Crime Stoppers for assistance in identifying a man who they said is wanted for a felony theft. 

Officials said around 10:20 p.m. Dec. 20, a man stole an expensive watch from a spa in the 6800 block of south Gessner Road. 

According to police, the man took a Patek Phillipe watch, valued over $44,000, that the victim left on a table. 

Witnesses said the suspect took the watch and fled the spa in a red 4-door hatchback vehicle. His direction of travel is unknown.

Officials believe the man is possibly named Walter and is described as a Hispanic man with a beard, wearing a New Orleans Saints hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and light-colored shoes. 

Police said surveillance video captured images of the man during the theft.
