Gun-wielding man attempts to rob NW Houston restaurant

Houston – Surveillance video has been released of a pistol-wielding man who attempted to rob a restaurant Jan. 17 in northwest Houston, police said

The incident was reported at 8:55 p.m. in the 7700 block of West Tidwell Road.

Houston police said a man walked into the business and demanded money while pointing a gun at employees. Police said the employees fled the restaurant and the gunman ran after them before he left the location.

Police said the man failed to get any money.

The suspect is described as a white man between 23 and 26 years old, 5 feet, 4 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a multicolored baseball cap, a gray and black long-sleeved shirt and dark pants.
