PASADENA, Texas – A police chase ended Saturday when the suspect's vehicle T-boned an ambulance carrying a patient and caused it to overturn on Beltway 8 at Fairmont, officials said.
The incident was reported at 3:17 p.m. at Hartsook Street and W. Broadway Avenue.

Officials said a K-9 unit was working a traffic stop when a vehicle's license plate came back as stolen. Officials said the driver drove off on northbound Highway 45 and attempted to run a red light, but T-boned an ambulance.

Authorities said the ambulance overturned. Officials said three people, including one patient, were inside the ambulance during the crash. All three were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials said two suspects ran away, but were caught after a short foot pursuit.
