HOUSTON – A man was injured after getting hit by a car in northwest Harris County.
Deputies said the man got hit while he was trying to cross FM 1960 at Walters Road in an unprotected area.

The driver did not stop to help the man, according to investigators.
The 50-year-old was taken by Lifeflight to Memorial Hermann hospital in serious condition, but he is expected to survive.
Deputies said they are now searching for the driver responsible for the crash.
