HOUSTON – A driver was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after deputies said he slammed into a big rig in Northwest Harris County.
Officials said the car slammed into the back of the semi around 9:30 p.m. near Highway 290 and Telge.

The semi was not carrying a trailer. The driver was taken to the hospital.
Deputies are investigating if alcohol played a role in the crash.
