HOUSTON – Family and friends planned a vigil for the owner of a tire shop who was killed on Monday.
The shooting was reported about 2 p.m. at a gas station in the 13000 block of Almeda Road.
A witness said Bobby Garcia was the owner of a tire shop next door to the gas station.
Police said Garcia was walking out of the gas station store with an employee of the convenience store when he was shot and killed.
The vigil was scheduled for 4 p.m.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for Garcia.
