Two teenagers were hospitalized Monday after a pickup truck hit an 18-wheeler in east Harris County.
Deputies said the driver of the pickup did not see the 18-wheeler pulling out of a business around 11 p.m. near I-10 and Spur 330. The pickup slammed into the trailer of the 18-wheeler and became wedged underneath the big rig, investigators said.
The driver and the passenger in the pickup had to be pulled out of the vehicle and flown to a hospital, police said.
Both are expected to survive.
