Married couple found dead after apparent murder-suicide inside home, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A husband and wife are dead after a family member heard gunshots inside a north Harris County home, Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 1 patrol deputies said.

Deputies said the mothers of the 37-year-old man and 33-year-old woman found them Thursday in a room of the house in the 10200 block of Trade Winds Drive.

Both were pronounced dead at 8:40 p.m.

According to investigators, the couple had been married for 12 years and had five children, ranging in age from 10 to 15 years old. The children were not home at the time of the shooting. 

Deputies are investigating which person pulled the trigger and a motive.
