Man accused of firing shots at victim sought, authorities say
Warrant issued for Torrell Hayward's arrest
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man accused of firing shots at another person is being sought, the Harris County Constable Pct. 4 Office said.
Deputies responded to a disturbance call at an apartment complex in the 14600 block of Ella Boulevard.
The victim told deputies she was involved in a physical altercation with another female when Torrell Hayward, 34, intervened, authorities said.
Constable Mark Herman said Hayward returned to his vehicle and grabbed a handgun, firing two shots from his vehicle in the direction of the victim before fleeing the scene, according to the victim and a witness.
No injuries or damaged property were reported, Herman said.
"The charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon has been filed on Hayward, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest," Herman said.
