HOUSTON – A man faces charges after a short chase in northwest Houston.
An officer tried to pull a car over Thursday for traffic violations long Longpoint, but the driver refused to stop, police said.

Police said the driver eventually hit a speed bump, causing his airbags to deploy.
His car came to a stop on Ravenwood and Spinwick.
Police said the driver had outstanding warrants against him.
No one was hurt.
