Armed man robs pedestrian of phone, money, shoes, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies arrested a 19-year-old man after they said he robbed a man at gunpoint.

According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, the victim was walking with his bicycle in the 23300 block of Cimber Lane when a gray vehicle with four men inside pulled up alongside him.

Deputies said that all of the men exited the vehicle, but one of the men, identified as Onill Shinn, pointed a gun at the victim's head and demanded his phone, money and shoes.

Upon the victim providing a description of Shinn, deputies were able to locate the suspect at his home.

Deputies said that the gun used in the crime was found in Shinn's possession.

Shinn was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. He was booked into the Harris County jail on no bond.
