Neighbor saves woman from burning apartment in southwest Houston


HOUSTON – A neighbor helped save a woman from her burning apartment in southwest Houston.

Firefighters were called around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday to a complex on McAvoy Drive at Indigo Street.

Fire officials said one apartment was burned and two others had water and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No one was hurt.
