Sex assault suspect arrested after incident caught on camera

OMAHA, Neb. – Police in Nebraska said they have nabbed a sex assault suspect with a history in three states.

They said Zachary Person's latest attack was caught on camera in Omaha on March 1.

Person, 29, is seen on camera roaming the hallways at a hotel searching for the front desk attendant.

When he finds a hotel employee, he grabs her and forces her into a hallway.

The employee was able to remove Person's mask, causing him to panic. He ran out of the hotel but returned a short time later in what police believe was an attempt to retrieve his mask.

The sheriff says Person would've definitely struck again if he hadn't been caught.

He's now in jail in Omaha, but he's scheduled for sentencing in two other cases later this month.
