HOUSTON – A man is recovering after he was struck by an SUV in North Houston around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials said the man in the SUV was backing out of a driveway on Esther at West Montgomery when it ran over the man as he walked down the street.

The man was taken to the hospital listed in stable condition.
Officials said the SUV stayed at the scene and the driver received a ticket.
