CONROE, Texas – A 23-year-old man was shot to death Sunday during a fight at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations/Piney Shores Resort, police said.
The altercation was reported just before noon and took place between two employees at the resort on Lake Conroe, according to the Conroe Police Department.

One man shot the other man several times. When investigators arrived, they found the victim dead.
Conroe police continue looking into the shooting.
Authorities put a lockdown into place, just as a precaution, for a short time as officials investigated.
The shooter is now in police custody.
