HOUSTON – One person was shot multiple times early Friday morning in the Third Ward neighborhood.
Police responded to the shooting at Tuam near Nettleton around 1:30 a.m. and found the 39-year-old victim lying on the stairs. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the stomach.

The man was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition.
Residents said they heard two men arguing before the shooting, according to police.
