HOUSTON – A man is on the run after a short chase in southwest Houston.
According to police, an officer tried to pull over a driver in a stolen car driving down Bissonnet around 1 a.m. Friday.

Police said the driver refused to stop before losing control and crashing into a tree on Leawood.
Officers set up a perimeter but were unable to find the driver.
Police said the car had been stolen by a group of five men a few days ago.
