Ambulance involved in crash while responding to call


HOUSTON – An ambulance headed to a call was involved in a crash in southeast Houston Sunday. 

Officials said around 9:30 p.m a vehicle did not yield and struck the back of the ambulance at the Gulf Freeway and Monroe intersection. 

Police said the ambulance had its lights and sirens on at the time. 

No patients were inside the ambulance and no one else was hurt.
