ROSENBERG, Texas – A 22-year-old man is being held in the Fort Bend County Jail, after Rosenberg police officers said he assaulted Roberto Chapa, 52 on the way home from a bar on Feb. 6.
Officers were dispatched to the 4900 block of Arbury Hill Lane, where they found Chapa in critical condition.

Ernesto Hernandez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
Police said the pair got into an argument on the way home from a bar in Damon, Texas.
