K-9 helps police arrest 2 convenience store burglary suspects

HOUSTON – Police arrested two men who officials say broke into a convenience store in southeast Houston.

Officials said around 5 a.m. the owner of a convenience store at 7050 South Loop East, saw the suspects inside the store on his security camera. 

The owner called police and the suspects were found trying to hide inside the store, investigators said. 

Police said the men entered the store through the roof. A K-9 was sent inside the store and police arrested both suspects.
