HOUSTON – A sheriff's deputy is in the hospital after a crash involving three vehicles in Northwest Harris County
Deputies said the crash happened just after midnight when two vehicles were racing at Bammel North Houston and Azalea Trace and hit the deputy's patrol car.
The deputy was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Deputies said the drivers of the two vehicles fled on foot and have not been caught.
