Man charged with murder in connection to security guard's death
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man has been arrested in connection to shooting and killing a security guard in what deputies are calling an illegal gaming room on Nov. 6 in north Harris County.
Investigators said a security guard was watching security cameras at the business in the 500 block of Dale Street when he saw Clint Walker walking toward the door with a gun. The security guard tried to lock the door before Walker entered, but he was too late, deputies said. Walker kicked in the door and struggled with the security guard, according to investigators.
Walker shot the security guard several times. The security guard died at the scene, deputies said.
Investigators said 30 to 40 people were inside the game room at the time of the shooting, but they all ran. There were no reports of any other injuries.
Walker left the building in a white minivan, deputies said.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. All tipsters may remain anonymous.
