Teen struck, killed by stray bullet in NW Houston


HOUSTON – A 19-year-old man is dead after a shooting at 6000 Antoine Drive around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

Jeremiah Tillis was driving through a business center parking lot when unknown people started firing weapons, police said. Police believe he was struck by a stray bullet, lost control of his vehicle and struck a sign post in the parking lot tried to drive away but ended up crashing into a light pole and died at the scene.

Police said there are no known witnesses at this time.
