Rice University monument vandalized with "Trump" graffiti

HOUSTON – The Rice University monument was spray painted with “Trump 16” and “Aloha” graffiti.

The incident was reported Friday morning on the campus outside the Baker Institute for Public Policy building.

Police said they have identified student who are responsible for the graffiti.

 Police said they are working with an art conservator on how to remove the graffiti without damaging the monument.

The monument was covered with a canvas, while officials attempted to clean up the mess.

A shipping container covered in art was also spray painted over with "Trump" graffiti on the campus.

The art on the side of the Moody Center shipping containers was also vandalized, reading in part "TRUMP BABY!" and "DeportSpanos."
