17-year-old charged, wanted in deadly December shooting

HOUSTON – Murder charges have been filed against a 17-year-old who is wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 8900 South Braeswood Boulevard around 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 21.

Transito Rafael Villalobos is wanted and remains at large.

Villalobos is charged in the death of Miguel Picon, 18.

Houston Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in a strip center parking lot at the address, according to police.

Police found Picon with an apparent gunshot wound.

Surveillance video showed a potential suspect, and additional investigation led to the identification of the suspect as Villalobos.
