Homeowner robbed in driveway

HOUSTON – A man walked up to a homeowner in his driveway and robbed him of his belongings, police said.

According to police, a man hopped out of silver sedan and walked up to a homeowner standing in his driveway on the 3700 block of Rio Vista Street at 3:21 p.m. Friday Dec. 2 and demanded him to hand over his belonging at gunpoint.

The homeowner handed over his phone and wallet and the robber hopped back in the sedan and fled the scene, police said.

Surveillance video captured the black man on camera standing at 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He is described to be between the ages of 28 to 30 years old and wearing a dark colored baseball cap, white shirt, dark pants and white shoes.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
