HOUSTON – Three people are safe after a car fire in the Willowbrook area on Tuesday night.
A white car with two people inside pulled out from Loyel Pointe to turn onto Gessner and collided with a vehicle that was southbound on Gessner, police said.

The car that was on Gessner burst into flames, but the driver was able to get out safely, according to police.
Both occupants in the white car were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Harris County deputies are investigating to see if alcohol was a factor or not.
Police said the driver of the white car was at fault in the accident.
