Man shot to death at southeast Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON – A man was found shot to death Friday at an apartment complex near Baybrook Mall in southeast Houston.

Police were called around 12:30 a.m. to the Lodge at Baybrook Apartments in the 19100 block of Glenwest Drive. The man's body was found in the stairway of one of the buildings, police said. Two other injured people were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not known. 

Investigators interviewed at least eight witnesses, but have not made any arrests.

A truck with four people inside was stopped at a nearby Sam's Club. Police said the group might have witnessed the shooting.

A  shotgun was taken from the truck as evidence, police said. It is unknown if it was used in the apartment shooting.

Police are investigating what led to the shooting.
