Neighbors concerned when 2 teens crash while drag racing, officials say
CONROE, Texas – Deerwood residents are concerned after two teens used a neighborhood street to drag race Saturday afternoon and one of them crashed, officials said.
The incident was reported about 1:26 p.m. on Highline Oaks Street in the Deerwood subdivision.
Residents told KPRC2 the two teens were drag racing in a Mercedes and an SUV when the SUV crashed into a tree. A neighbor, Oscar Delgadillo, said he heard the crash.
“His nose was completely broken. He wanted us to call his mother,” Delgadillo said.
The teens from both vehicles suffered minor injuries.
