Plane forced to make emergency landing at Bush Intercontinental Airport

HOUSTON – A Ecuador-bound flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Houston due to reports of a person stashed in the cargo area of the plane, according to reports.

The plane landed at Bush Intercontinental Airport around 7 p.m. Thursday without a problem.

There were 163 passengers on board, according to the airline.

No one was found in the cargo area, according to reports. It turned out to be a maintenance issue.

The passengers will switch planes and should be leaving IAH soon.
