HOUSTON – A Houston mother is facing charges after police said she beat, choked and bit her daughter in October.
Witnesses said Ashley Kilpatrick punched the 13-year-old girl in the face and in the back of the head, according to court documents.
Officers said they could see injuries to the girl, including scratches on her face and a bloody lower lip, according to the documents.
During the attack, the mother sat on the teen choked her and bit her on her arm, according to the documents.
Police said Kilpatrick told them she was mad because her daughter crossed the street without her permission.Â
A warrant has been issued for her arrest, charging her with injury to a child.
