HOUSTON – Deputies said a man was arrested Dec. 11 after a road-rage incident on North Beltway 8.

According to Harris County Constable Precinct 4, the complainant attempted to change lanes in front of a vehicle driven by a man identified as Jonathan David Kegerreis, but Kegerreis sped up in an effort to stop him from changing lanes.

Deputies said Kegerreis pointed a firearm at the victim and made threats to kill him after he changed lanes as the two were merging onto the Sam Houston Toll Road.

Deputies searched Kegerreis' vehicle, in which they reported finding a semi-automatic pistol matching the one the victim described.

Kegerreis was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He is being held on $30,000 bail.
