HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was killed in a hit-and-run Tuesday in northeast Harris County.
Police said Alexander Roberto Chavez was walking along the 8600 block of Furay just before 10 p.m. when he was hit and killed by a 2008 Chrysler 300. The driver did not stop, investigators said.
Chavez died at the scene.
According to investigators, Chavez did not yield to the right of way of the driver when he was hit.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's office.
